ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· MUST be willing to work 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm; Monday - Friday.

· Provide support to production by keeping accurate shelf inventories and locations in ERP system

· Train all material handlers to perform their job duties

· Proper raw material, color identification including grinders, dryers, drums and containers at all areas of the plant related to Material Handling

· Train material handlers in proper line clearance techniques

· Organize material inventory area

· Issue material, color, inserts and other components as necessary to keep production supplied and accurate usages for each production run

· Establish regrind inventory and tracking in ERP system

· Work with Program Manager to develop blended raw material and color inventory and tracking

· Stage material and keep accurate information of the transactions for usage purposes

· Communicate to purchasing when raw components inventories are low

· Portion color concentrate in advance and have ready for material handlers to weigh the raw material and then add color into the drums for consistency in mixing

· Conveys continuous flow of molding compounds to machines

· Identify all material containments, grinders, dryers, regrind containers with proper labels

· Perform material handling duties in their absence

· Work with material handlers to minimize waste and scrap of raw materials due to contaminated batches.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Injection Molding experience a plus

· Fork lift certified a plus

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

· Stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor. Exert up to 150 lbs. of force occasionally

· Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate the English language in a proficient manner

· IQMS knowledge a plus
